Tony grew up in the Parramatta region belonging to a very sporty family with a sister and 3 brothers, became a Physical Education Teacher on leaving school, and in 1989 graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy from Sydney.
He has a wide variety of experience with his 30 years in the profession, the first 5 years in the NSW Public Hospitals and the last 25 years in Private Practice. The majority of his work has been assessing and treating people holistically with Neuromusculoskeletal, Orthopaedic, Sporting, Hand and Biomechanical presentations.
Tony has also spent time working with Children with Disabilities/Challenges, Aged Care and Men's Health. He has co-ordinated Clinical Supervision of University and School Work Experience Students.
He has enjoyed participating in events as physio for the West African Judo Team prior to the Sydney Olympics, Paralympics for Swimming in Sydney, NSW Sharks Swimming Development Squad for 3 years, NSWIS (NSW Institute of Sport) provider since 1998, SWSAS (South West Sydney Academy of Sport) Hockey and Swimming, and SERAS (South East Region Academy of Sport ) Physio Screening, Cystic Fibrosis Camps and Canberra Cosmos Football Team.
He likes to keep fit and active and believes in lifelong learning with continuing professional development. Tony loves the Port Macquarie lifestyle and enjoys meeting people from all walks of life through his work.
